Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a client in Fremont, California. This is a temporary-to-permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to work in the semiconductor and related industries. The role is 100% onsite, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The starting pay is competitive, ranging from $28 to $35 an hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Build complex electrical assemblies, including panel layout, cables, and wiring to schematics, using manual common tools.
• Perform system wiring and integration of electrical components and modules.
• Conduct initial start-up procedures, including voltage checks and I/O checkouts.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system problems, including PLC, motion control, and I/O subsystems, using PC-based software, diagnostic tools, and common measurement tools.
• Interface with engineering teams to resolve issues related to bill of materials, drawings, schematics, and control systems.
• Perform final qualification tests of subsystems and systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success and meet deadlines.
• May require travel to customer sites to install new equipment or service existing installed equipment.

Qualifications

• Prototyping experience in a production work environment.
• Desired 5+ years of experience working as a technician.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical CAD drawings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally and collaborate effectively.
• Desired AA degree in electronics, industrial, or electrical.
• Desired experience in writing or debugging PLC ladder logic.
• Desired military electrician technical training.

Benefits

Competitive pay ranging from $28 to $35 per hour, depending on experience. Additional benefits will be discussed upon hire.

Additional Details

Max Pay is $35 per hour. Min Pay is $28 per hour.
